Performing in CT Folk's Song Competition last fall, I met a wonderful, sharply talented songwriter named Mike Vial. Mike happens to be from my old stomping grounds in Southeast Michigan, so we put our heads together and booked a gig in Plymouth, MI! Join us as we share our songs and stories, and maybe sing together a tune or two.
While performing in the Falcon Ridge Emerging Artist Showcase this past summer, I was lucky enough to meet and sing with the tremendously talented Eric Lee! I'm honored to share the stage with him again as his opening act at the beautiful Packing House in Willington, CT. Expect a fantastic evening of foot-stomping, Americana-inflected, inspiring songs and sounds!
Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to sing and share the stage with fellow female songwriters! The Chicks With Dip are a loose collective of songwriters that I've had the pleasure of knowing and singing with over the years. Join us for this fun holiday extravaganza at Rockwood Music Hall!
For the 3rd year in a row, I'll join Sloan, and a host of merry music-makers, as a harmony-singing "Sloan-flake" at her popular annual holiday shindig in Bedford, NY.
I'm honored to support fabulous singer-songwriter-friend Sloan Wainwright by singing back-up in her "Rainy Day" Band!! We are going to rock the casbah (or Towne Crier Cafe) in celebration of her fantastic new album "Bright Side of a Rainy Day."
I'm happy to once again pair up with my good friend Colleen Kattau, for this annual fair benefiting the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rock Tavern, NY. We'll provide some afternoon musical entertainment while attendees mingle with some of the best psychics, inspirational workshop presenters, and spiritual teachers in the Hudson Valley.
We're honored to showcase three of today's most powerful female songwriters, singing songs of change, promise, and release.
Presented in partnership with the Beacon chapter of SURJ (Showing Up for Racial Justice), part of a national network of groups and individuals organizing white people for racial justice.
Musicians and Gun Safety Activists Sing Out and Speak Up!
I'm honored to take part in this event with like-minded Hudson Valley & NYC musicians, to promote awareness, and create community in support of gun safety initiatives. MUSICIANS include: Janie Barnett, Neil Okeson, Teri Scheinzeit, Ina May Wool, David S. Goldman, Glen Roethel, Amy Soucy, and Sloan Wainwright w/Stephen Murphy.
Join me in my hometown, at BEAHIVE, for an intimate evening of scintillating guitar, vibrant vocals, and stellar songs shared by good friends.
Sharon Goldman and I will share the bill with guitarist Jon Shain and bassist Fj Ventre. They’ve been playing together, on-and-off, since they met in high school in Massachusetts 35 years ago, but their musical collaboration has really blossomed in North Carolina where they both have made their homes.
I'm honored to open for acoustic & world music duo Acoustic Eidolon! Stephen Murphy, guitarist & collaborator extraordinaire, will join me for the opening set at the beautiful Cooperage in Honesdale, PA, home of Riverfolk Concerts.
I could not be more honored, or excited to be one of FIVE finalists in CT Folk's prestigious songwriting competition! The Main Stage lineup is amazing this year, featuring Susan Werner, Spuyten Duyvil, Ryan Montbleau, and more!
I'll be singing, playing, and connecting with the muse – as well as leading mindful movement, voice and harmony coaching at my favorite creative retreat for songwriters and music-makers!
Founded by the legendary Penny Nichols, the mission of SummerSongs is to encourage, support and promote the creation of songs and the work of songwriters, and to facilitate the inclusion of original songs in the life of communities.
I'm honored to perform at Godfrey Daniels, one of the finest listening rooms in the country! This is the 2nd of two special showcase concerts being held in the northeast, co-sponsored by NERFA. Artists invited to participate are chosen from the many talented musicians who have graced the NERFA Quad Showcases in recent years.
I'd been looking for a way to merge my "worlds" of spirit-seeking and singing, when my good friend & soul brother-from-another-mother, Noah Baumwoll stepped in and answered my call by asking me to sing vocals on his upcoming kirtan (call and response chanting) record. I'm honored to join him at this special live kirtan event on the Upper West Side @ Life in Motion Yoga Studio.
Join me this month for another show @ Rockwood Music Hall, Stage 3. I'm excited to share the bill with a wonderful singer songwriter from Philly, Meghan Cary — a recent Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist, fearless songwriter and dynamic performer, who also happens to also be an old friend from my NYC acting days!
Join Sharon Goldman, Glen Roethel and me for a whiz-bang, creative, collaborative triple bill featuring soulful songs, shimmery harmonies, guitar wizardry, ukuleles and more! Be prepared to sing along, feel energized, and be uplifted.
I'm not a performer, but a presenter this time around! I invite you to join me and some fantastic musical friends at Beahive (a gorgeous, collaborative co-working space on Main Street in Beacon, NY) for an intimate evening of inventive guitar-work and vibrant vocal harmonies, with two dynamic musical duos: Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers & Wendy Ramsay and Open Book.
